What We Do
ADEQ administers the state’s environmental laws and delegated federal programs to prevent air, water, and land pollution and ensure cleanup. The agency is organized into three divisions and operational support:

- The Water Quality Division ensures public water systems provide healthy drinking water and helps control current and future sources of surface and groundwater pollution | Learn More >
- Mission Partners provides operational support to the agency as a whole. Responsibilities include: executive administrative functions; human resources; communications and outreach; information technology; business and financial services; administrative counsel; intergovernmental and community engagement; and continuous improvement and business intelligence.
